Kabuki is a classical Japanese dance-drama known for its stylized performances, elaborate costumes, and dramatic makeup the art form originated in the Edo Period from 1603. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI created each garment in the collection is inspired by a character she played. One of characters is Yuki-Onna a tale about a lady made of snow and the second character is Kiyohime a lady that feels so betrayed she turns into a serpent.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOver 25,000 of beads where embroidered for the new collection. The collection consists of hand pleated silk organza panels embroidered with vintage Swarovski and fresh water pearls.
